MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Because so many non-Arabian people expressed an
interest in joining FFAHA, the group decided early on
to openly welcome horse owners of all breeds to the
group. Furthermore, horse ownership is not required
for membership. The only requirement to join is the
interest to promote the use of Arabian horses in the
local community and have fun in the process! The
membership year runs from October to September. To
hold office in our club, you must be a member of the
Arabian Horse Association (AHA). Some of the benefits
of AHA membership include discounted fees for
registering and showing your Arabian or Half-Arabian;
Excess Personal Liability Insurance Coverage for horse
related accidents with a $1,000,000 bodily injury and
property damage limit; mailings of newsletters and
promotional literature from AHA; receipt of the AHA
magazine; and discounts on airlines, rental cars, hotel
rates, etc. FFAHA members are eligible for our
year-end High Point Awards in several categories.

Business meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month, February through
November. We meet at 6:00 PM to eat dinner for those who want to come early. Guests are
welcome to attend our business meetings. The meetings are currently being held at Founaris
Bros Greek Restaurant in Pensacola on Hwy 29, just south of I-10. In December, we have our
annual members' Christmas Party. We hold our annual meeting and awards ceremony in January.
