Spanish Trail Competitive Trail Ride
Spanish Trail is FFAHA's annual Competitive Trail Ride. Our CTR's are sanctioned by the
North American Trail Ride Conference and is an "A" ride, which means it is a 2-day
competition (riders must complete both days to receive a completion). Our ride is always
held the 2nd weekend of March and is limited to 60 riders. Located in NATRC's Region 5,
Spanish Trail is one of the best-attended rides in the region. Riders and Judges agree that
this is due to well-organized weekend, having a great trail system and facility like
Coldwater with lots of luxuries (hot showers, stalls, wash racks, grass turnout pasture, and
electric/water campsites), catered meals, great rosette ribbons, and tons of door prizes
and breed awards.
